1. Catholic BABY BAPTISM for Adam's sin, plus good deeds, beads, mandated holy days, praying to statues and the dead..

2. Lutheran BABY BAPTISM for salvation, plus communion for salvation, plus pastor forgives your sins for salvation, all three are done for Lutheran salvation.

3. Pentecostal and Apostolic WATER BAPTISM in the name of Jesus for adults for salvation.

4. The false idea that speaking in tongues shows you are saved.

5. Just being good “saves”. Believe in anything as your HIGHER POWER to be your own God according to your own interpretation.

6. Church attendance and money-giving “saves”.

7. Doing good deeds only will get you to heaven.

8. Someone told me “I'm saved”, but I don't feel saved.

9. Using a prayer to “save”. Example: “Say the following sinner's prayer...etc. , or say, “God be merciful to me a sinner”.

10. “Invite Christ into your life.”

11. “Open the door of your heart to Jesus.

12. “Drink freely the water of life.”

13. “Come to Jesus...”

14. “Jesus, come to me...”

15. “Make a decision for Christ...” (Billy Graham)

16. “Walk the aisle and REPENT!”

17. “Commit your life to Christ...”

18. “You must forsake all your sins...”

19. “You must surrender ALL!”

20. “You must make Jesus the Lord of your life!”

21. “Receive Jesus today...”

...and remember: ALL NON-CHRISTIAN RELIGIONS HAVE PHONY GOSPELS or phony ways to get to heaven, paradise, nirvana, etc.

“And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved, ” than the name of Jesus Christ.
 

BASIC IDEAS: Jesus Christ, God and Savior of the world (Titus 2:10 & 13), came to earth from heaven to die on the cross, bearing our sins in His body (1 Peter 2:24) in substitutionary atonement for ALL our sins. He shed His blood unto death to make a ONE TIME, ONCE FOR ALL full payment of our sin debt for those who BELIEVE by simple faith ONLY (plus nothing). He was crucified, died, buried, went to hell in our place and rose again on the third day. His promise to all who simply BELIEVE this is eternal life that can NEVER perish or be lost for any reason, even after committing any sin after we are saved.

Since He paid for ALL of our sins, our entire lifetime of sins, there is no sin left that can keep us out of heaven once we truly BELIEVE (trust in, have faith in, rely upon alone). Jesus becomes our personal Savior. Thus, salvation does not need works, prayers, sacraments, water baptisms, or the phony deeds that religions require. FAITH ALONE IN WHAT CHRIST DID SAVES US.

“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23 & 10). Simply admit to God that you are a sinner and deserve to go to hell.

Realize that Jesus Christ, who is God in flesh, died for all your sins, and PAID your sin debt with His blood, having forgiven you all your sins. (1 John 1:7c, 1 Peter 2:24, John 3:16, Colossians 2:13 & 14)

Claim right now, by simple belief, what Jesus has done for you as your OWN personal Savior to receive the FREE GIFT of eternal life. (John 6:23, John 1:12)

Then realize and believe that: “Having NOW been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God (hell) through Him (Jesus).” (Romans 5:9)

According to these Scriptures, IF you truly believe the real gospel of the one finished work of Jesus Christ for ALL your sins, you are saved and will go to heaven and can NEVER lose your salvation for any reason. (John 10:28 & 29)
