July 15th, 2008 - In today’s society, gambling has become a very lucrative business, and in almost all social circles it has become widely accepted as a means of obtaining quick gain. We’ve just added a short but terrific study on gambling called “Deceivers, Bluffers, Swindlers, and Wagers” and you’ll find it under the TOPICAL tab from our homepage. It gives a brief overview of those terms and presents a short summary of the Biblical teaching about the subject from God’s point of view.

If you should want to do further follow-up, let us also suggest that you read “The Christian and Gambling”, also located under the TOPICAL tab.

We recommend that you take the time to study God’s Word for yourself as you read through the study guides presented on this website. They are here for you, and for any others you would like to recommend them to.

You are welcomed to print them for yourself, or for presentation at a group Bible study. In many cases, the Bible verses and passages are written out for the convenience of those who do not have a Bible of their own. However, when using your own Bible, by highlighting or using colored pencils to accentuate those verses, you’ll find them much easier to find in the future when studying or sharing your faith.
